Cox’s Quarry is an exciting custom build community nestled in the lush woodlands of Combe Down, one of Bath’s most popular neighbourhoods. Just 2.5km southeast of Bath city centre, the site spans 4.25 hectares, is surrounded by mature trees and is a haven of biodiversity. Its secluded location provides a unique blend of privacy and natural beauty, close to urban amenities.
We are delivering six turnkey, Passivhaus homes with plot and planning consent — all you have to do is select your customer choice options and enjoy the journey.
The project has Outline Planning Consent and we’re waiting for confirmation of the Reserved Matters from the LPA. In the meantime we are taking reservations, undertaking the conveyancing, and clearing pre-commencement planning conditions.

Design approach at Cox’s Quarry.
Cox’s Quarry has 6 custom build plots. Each plot is offered with planning consent for a turnkey, Passivhaus, Kiss Custom home with customisation options. Each home will be three-storeys with the floor areas averaging 180m2.
The homes are designed for adaptability and have versatile layouts which can serve multiple functions. There are options for open or distinct plan living spaces and for between 3 to 5 bedrooms, this allows the environment to be tailored to occupants’ unique needs.
Life in Bath and Somerset.
Cox’s Quarry is only two miles outside the centre of Bath, the only city in the UK designated as a UNESCO world heritage site, it is one of the great spa towns of Europe. It is in North Somerset and has great transport links.
Somerset includes five areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Exmoor National Park along with a varied coastline including long sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and traditional harbours. It offers everything from stunning beaches, green spaces, to woodlands, lakes and the city of Bath and covers a wide range of landscapes. Famous landmarks include Glastonbury, where the origins of European Christianity began along with Cheddar Gorge, and Wells Cathedral.
